Shalom Jieuxs in Exxxile!!! Kicking out a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make Krewe du Jieux's Innaugural Running of the Jieuxs & Jieux-To-Do an amazing Jieuxstravaganza. I definitely have a better idea of what it takes to throw this kind of event now. It was a wild success in all non-financial ways, and I've heard nothing but great feedback from everyone I've spoken with. All the bands and acts have said they will do it again next year. Everyone new to the scene commented on what amazing friends I have, and I certainly certainly certanly agree. There are a lot of plans for the future, beginning with a reminder that we have been invited to be the guests of honor tomorrow night (February 2, 2007) at a community Mardi Gras Themed Dinner sponored by Hillel. The event is at their headquarters uptown 912 Broadway. It's a free kosher meal, and Everyone's invited. The meal begins at 6:00, but we have been asked to arrive at 5:30.
